1. Ballast-type Brackets

 

By placing precast counterweights (concrete blocks, metal blocks, etc.) on the bracket base or bracket body, the entire bracket is pressed onto the roof surface using gravity, ensuring stability without any bolts or anchors.

The weight, position, and quantity of counterweights can be finely adjusted on-site via the adjustment mechanism to achieve uniform overall force distribution and a low center of gravity, thereby enhancing anti-overturning capability.

Applicable Scenarios

· Flat roofs, industrial building roofs, and commercial buildings where roof waterproofing layers should not be perforated.

· Regions with relatively moderate wind pressure and snow loads.

2. Drilled-anchor type Bracket

 

Pre-drill holes in the roof structure (steel tiles, concrete, roof tiles, etc.), then directly secure the bracket base to the roof using expansion bolts, chemical anchors, or self-tapping screws.

 Bolts pass through pre-drilled holes in the bracket base, with nuts or expansion sleeves expanding within the holes to form a mechanical lock. This arrangement enables the bracket to directly transfer all applied forces to the main roof structure.

Applicable Scenarios

· Sturdy steel-framed roofs, concrete flat roofs, industrial buildings.

· Extreme weather conditions (severe typhoons, heavy snowfall) or projects with high structural rigidity requirements.

Drilled-anchor type Bracket 3. Hybrid type Bracket

 

Combining the advantages of ballast-based and perforated-anchor systems: Perforated anchors are used at critical load-bearing points on the roof (such as corners, edges, and areas subjected to maximum wind pressure); ballast weights provide structural support for the remaining large-area sections.

By providing mechanical anchoring at critical points, the overall structure's resistance to overturning and wind loads is ensured; the counterweight blocks create a uniform gravitational distribution internally, reducing the overall counterweight requirements and construction costs.

Applicable Scenarios

· Large commercial or industrial roofs with generally sound roof structures but localized high stress points (such as eaves and corners).

· Projects with high wind pressure and snow load requirements that also aim to control the total counterweight mass.
